B2B PodPros 11 month birthday was Oct. 15th. We have done paid sponsorships with 35 b2b podcasters (WOW). Here’s a detailed breakdown of the metrics.

The stakes were pretty high.

I had recently gotten laid off (3rd time in past four years).

I wasn’t scared jumping into a new industry and moving to Europe without a job.

(I had been in this situation before multiple times and always believed in my ability to find work)

But after three years of not being able to land a secure job with steady income for a long period of time, I decided to bet on myself...

Now that I’ve launched a new service business and have to ‘sell’ and close leads, I’m not ashamed to say that I sucked at my first few sales calls.

The part I got wrong was that I went straight into talking about how great my product was.

Instead, I should have been asking:

- What are your goals and timeline?

- What metrics are you responsible for?
