3 key reasons I turn down podcast sponsorship opportunities
Rest assured, I don’t like turning down business.
After all, I need to put food on the table for my family and I like bringing new revenue opportunities to all the b2b podcasters I represent.
But our podcast media network is not a good fit for everyone.
I have and will continue to turn down brands who:
1/ do not have a product that is a good fit for our podcasts’ audience
2/ is not a ‘proven’ brand (lacking social proof, reviews)
3/ is not willing to implement tracking and measurement strategies to assess the performance of our campaign
Luckily, we’ve had brands like Deel, Nasuni, Dealfront and others who meet this criteria.
And because of that, we’re happy to raise awareness, build trust and generate quality leads for them.
